Michael Lloyd is Chaplain at Queen's College, Oxford, a lecturer at St Mellitus College, and a regular voice on the GodPod. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the problem of evil, which is (hopefully) why his students call him Dr Evil. He is married to Abigail - hence his unbearable smugness. Having achieved his ambition of seeing all Shakespeare's plays on stage, he is now dragging Abigail along to every Handel opera. A friend once said of him that he has the extraordinary ability simultaneously to raise and lower the tone of any conversation.
