Lipsitz, Joan

Joan Lipsitz is the director of the Center for Early Adolescence at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has also been a consultant to the Ford Foundation, and has taught in secondary schools and at the University of North Carolina. She has published numerous articles on early adolescence and schooling and is the author of Growing Up Forgotten, also available from Transaction.
