Her translations of contemporary Chinese poetry have appeared in a number of literary journals and anthologies, including Sentence, Manoa and Full Tilt. She is also the translator of the novels Candy, by Mian Mian, and Farewell My Concubine, by Lilian Lee (Li Bihua). This spring she received a Pen Translation Fund Grant to translate Annie Baobei's 2006 novel, Padma.
