Lindlof, Thomas R.

Thomas R. Lindlof earned his B.A. in English from the University of Florida and his M.A. in Radio-Television-Film and Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. He has previously held faculty positions at the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Iowa and is the former chair of the Department of Telecommunications at UK. Lindlof's areas of teaching and research interest include the cultural analysis of mediated communication, audience theory and research, uses of communication media by families, qualitative research methods and telecommunications program
