LAWRENCE LEVY is a Silicon Valley lawyer and business executive who gave up corporatelife to study Eastern philosophy and meditation and its relevance to modern life. Hired by SteveJobs in 1994 as CFO of Pixar Animation Studios, Lawrence was responsible for Pixar s businessstrategy and IPO in the pivotal years around the release of Toy Story. Originally from London, England, Lawrence earned degrees from Indiana University and Harvard Law School. He liveswith his wife, Hillary, in Palo Alto, California.
