Philip Levine's most recent book of poems, "News of the World, " 2009, was published by Knopf. Levine is the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, two National Book Awards, the National Book Critics Award, the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, and more. He recently retired as Poet-in-Residence at New York University.
