C. P. Lesley, a historian, is the author of "The Not Exactly Scarlet Pimpernel," "Kingdom of the Shades," and two novels in the Legends of the Five Directions series-"The Golden Lynx" and "The Winged Horse." She is currently working on Legends 3: "The Swan Princess."
