Alan Lesgold is Professor and Dean of the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh and Professor of Psychology and Intelligent Systems. He received his PhD in Psychology from Stanford University, California in 1971 and holds an honorary doctorate from the Open University of the Netherlands.
