Raymond Lescastreyres was born on the 18th September 1923 in Parentis-en-Born in the Landes department, France. On the 21st October 1941, he volunteers in the 3eme Regiment de Spahis Marocain stationed at Mekhnes He is an Officer of the Order of the Legion of Honour Promoted Colonel on the 1st April 1977, health problems force him to leave the army in 1978, before he has reached the retirement age. Raymond Lescastreyres passed away on the 22nd December 2007 in Audenge (Gironde).
