At 6 months old, JS LEE was adopted from South Korea into an Irish-Italian American family in the suburbs of Boston, MA, that grew to include six siblings-all of which were biological to her adoptive parents. Raised in an all white family in a predominantly white community, identity was always an internal struggle.
