Irene Lebeter worked as a secretary for forty-five years, in industry, Civil Service and latterly the NHS. Childhood enjoyment of story writing led to creative writing in retirement. A previous member of Priesthill Writing Forum, she is now a member of three writing groups, Strathkelvin, Ruadh Ghleann and Kelvingrove, and has completed a two-year creative writing course at Strathclyde University.
