Lavergne, Kathy

Maree Ward-Russell is a writer, a registered nurse, and the mother of five teenagers. She has been writing short stories and novels since she was a teen herself. Born in New Plymouth, New Zealand, in 1965, she attended Spotswood College and later graduated from Taranaki Polytechnic as a Registered General, Obstetric and Psychiatric Nurse. She later completed an Advanced Diploma in Novel Writing at the New Zealand Business Institute. After traveling for some years she has since settled with her family in Auckland, where she now spends her time writing long hours into the night
