Blake Lavak was born on a small island in the Pacific Ocean in 1961. He grew up on Long Island, New York, before studying Psychology at The London School of Economics. He then enjoyed a successful career in international finance before founding a consulting company which provides high level talent acquisition services to the hedge fund industry in London and New York. After his fifteen year marriage ended, Blake embarked on a quest to find his soul mate. He was keen to meet someone from outside his established network of friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.
