Launay, Melissa

Drew Launay (1930 - 2013) was an author, playwright, humourist and broadcaster, writing under his real name, Andre Launay, but also Drew Launay, Andrew Laurance and Drew Lamark. Born in London of French parents, he was educated in England, finished in France and escaped the pressures of London to write full time in Nerja, Spain. After early years in the family meat business he escaped to the Windmill Theatre in London's West End to write the screen play for 'Yes we have no Pajamas'.
