Larson, James L.

James L. Larson is Professor Emeritus of Scandinavian Languages at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on the languages, literature, and history of northern Europe, with an emphasis on early modern history and culture. His interests in science, religion, and culture are unified by a concern with the process of secularization in Western culture.
