Susan Langley discovered as a little girl that vintage hats and clothing are links to our past that we can examine and learn from. As a child, she brought her Grandma a "funny" hat she had found in an old trunk, and her grandmother said "Susie, my great-grandmother worse this hat to the train station to see Abraham Lincoln's funeral train when it came through Syracuse in 1865." Thus began Susan Langley's fascination with vintage hats.
