Woody Lane, PhD, is a nationally-known livestock nutritionist and forage specialist who owns the independent consulting firm, Lane Livestock Services. He is an expert on sheep and beef cattle nutrition, pasture management, and grazing techniques. He teaches courses in livestock nutrition and forage management to ranchers in western Oregon and facilitates a number of rancher study groups.
