Lampton is George and Sadie Hyman Professor and Director of China Studies at The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and Director of Chinese Studies at The Nixon Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Lampton also is the editor of the newly released volume entitled "The Making of Chinese Foreign and Security Policy in the Area of Reform"
