Evan Lampe grew up in central Wisconsin, but has spent most of his adult life in various urban centers. He has been a fan of Philip K. Dick almost as long as he has been adrift. He is a historian by training and has taught at Endicott College and St. Thomas University. Currently he teaches history and literature at National Chi Nan University in Taiwan.
