Rick Lambert is father to four children. The inspiration behind Happy Hayden and Little Fluffy came directly from telling bedtime stories to his own children. Each night Rick's children would look forward to the adventures of the much loved characters, who were born out of Rick's overseas travels. Encouraged by friends to share his stories and talent with others, he finally put the pen to paper. "While I have never written a book before, I have always enjoyed telling my children stories.
