Lacy, Lyn

Lyn Lacy wrote Allos: Land Behind the Moon when she was a young woman. She loved the astronomy books of H. A. Rey (also the creator of Curious George books) who very kindly read the story and sent her a gracious note. Years later, she found the manuscript in the attic and thought the story was still a good one. She rewrote it as her first book for young people. An early draft was one of five finalists in the 2009 children's book manuscript contest sponsored by The Writers' League of Texas in Austin.
