Maurice has adopted two kids, who are adults now, and has been a foster parent to over 50 kids in his lifetime. It is through this work, in the trenches, that he developed his parenting program, Getting Your Kids to Think! His background that prepared him for this includes: 7-years experience supervising, developing, and implementing juvenile shelter care for the 18th Judicial District of Montana in compliance with state and federal regulations and setting up a 501(c) 3 non-profit status.
