Katie Lacey wrote Rosy's Choice, her debut novel, when she was thirteen, mainly to fill the time on long journeys to Scotland and Cornwall with her parents. A hamstring injury which put her out of the running for a place on the Royal Ballet Associates Programme led her to rebuild her ambitions around acting and musical theatre, and to put her heart into this story of hope, loss and determination. She has just begun her studies at Oxford University, where she intends to balance studying with the performing arts and completing the next books about Rosy and her family! 2014
