Barbara Kyle is the author of the critically acclaimed "Thornleigh" series of historical novels set in Tudor England: The Queen's Gamble, The Queen's Captive, The King's Daughter, and The Queen's Lady, all published internationally. A classically trained actor, Barbara enjoyed a successful career in film, television, and theater before turning her hand to writing fiction.
