Though Dutch, I lived in Ireland for most of my adult life. As a trained teacher of ballet, jazz, theater dance and mime I ran the Skerries School of Dance & Mime (in the town of Skerries, North County Dublin, where I lived). My children's stories stem from this period. I loved giving shows, summer and winter, and I wrote everything for these shows myself.
