Funny, frank and affable, Julie Krantz often describes herself as 'one of those kids who headed to the library for a good time.' A budding author at age thirteen, she published her first article in the Riverton, NJ newspaper about her school's new vending machine. In addition to writing middle-grade fiction, Ms. Krantz writes and illustrates her own picture books and poetry collections.
