Kovaleski, John

John Kovaleski was born small and naked in western New York State and grew up, more or less, where he was planted. Now living his dream as a cartoonist and illustrator, John is an ex-graphic designer, former art director, and failed filmmaker. He has "done time" at an ad agency, a consulting firm, a newspaper, and a big, faceless corporation. His humorous scribbles have adorned magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, puzzles, billboards, and that new-fangled Internet. In 1999, he was nominated for a National Cartoonists Society Award for Advertising Illustration. In his spare time he practices
