Tivadar Kovacs was born in Budapest, Hungary. At the time, Hungary was a communist country and his parents were on the black list for being involved in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 against Russian communism. He and his family endured the iron hand of the communists, eventually escaping through Austria to America. Tivadar has held many jobs including working as a cook in Seattle, working in four-star hotels and on sightseeing tours in Europe, as a dog groomer, paralegal, and as a manager of a non-profit wild mustang rehabilitation ranch in California.
