Nicholas Kotar was born in San Francisco, but he wishes he was born in roughly 1840 in St. Petersburg. He credits his mad and wonderful family for his early desire to write, although his mother claims the privilege for herself, since she purposely played nothing but Mozart and Beethoven while he was still in the womb.
