Mary Korte started her writing career after she turned seventy. Readers praise her 2013 trilogy, KALEIDOSCOPE LODGE, as captivating, engaging, creative, humorous and unusual. In her lifetime, Mary has worn many hats: legal secretary, school secretary, foster parent, foster care homefinder, child welfare social worker, parent education instructor, in-home family therapist, school consultant, director of her own counseling service and here lately, writer. Besides writing, Mary enjoys gardening, clay sculpting and socializing with friends.
