Kolbe, Ric

Ric Kolbe was born and raised in Southern California before he shipped off to serve in the army, during the Vietnam era. Upon leaving the army, he earned a BA in American studies from California State College in Los Angeles, and began his career in data processing with the California State Insurance Fund.

Most recently a health care insurance executive, Kolbe has held a variety of jobs over the years, working as a programmer, business analyst, systems supervisor and manager, and corporate executive. He and his wife spent twenty-five years living and working in Hawaii before retiring to Te
