Shoshana Kobrin, MA, LMFT, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After taking a Master's degree in literature, she pioneered a multi-cultural communications program during apartheid in South Africa. Her manual, "Communicate While You Teach" was written for teachers and nurses in training. Interest in intercultural group dynamics led her to a Master's degree in psychology at John F.
