Koan, Serene

Serene Koan grew up in several countries such as Canada, the U.S., England, France, Sri Lanka and Indonesia while travelling with his Indian diplomatic family. In 1969 at the age of 15, he dropped out of university. Since then Serene has travelled extensively in India, Nepal, Bali, Thailand, various countries in Europe and the U.S., staying in the presence of various teachers such as J. Krishnamurti, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Osho, Punjaji and many others for extended periods of time. He presently lives in Eugene, Oregon, seeking to apply the spiritual potential he discovered within himself.
