Born Tammy S. Sexton in Galax, VA in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the author grew up with a vivid imagination and love of reading and history. Tammy was raised in a close knit family near many relatives. When not at home, she spent time with her Grandma and Granny who shared with her stories and experiences that would one day blossom into characters and events of her stories. She attended Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN and graduated with honors with a B.A. in History.
