Knister, Barry

After a career in the classroom at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, Barry Knister retired in 2008. That year, he published his second novel, Just Bill. His first novel, a gritty thriller about Vietnam Vets titled The Dating Service had been published by Berkley. Knister's third novel, The Anything Goes Girl is the first installment in the Brenda Contay Mystery series. The novel draws on the author's Peace Corps experience.
