Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she found a personally-warm but temperature-cold lifestyle, Lori enjoyed a family engaging in all sorts of verbal play. As a youngster, she wrote poems as a way of bringing cheer to celebrations and expressing the myriad of emotions that accompany growing-up. Throughout her life, writing has been a source of fun and comfort, while attempting to explain the world we all live in.
