Kleven, Elisa

Elisa Kleven is the author and/or illustrator of more than 30 picture books for children. While growing up in Los Angeles, California, Elisa spent many hours creating intricate worlds populated with imaginative characters and surrounded by picturesque murals of nature. After studying literature at University of California, Berkeley, she taught school for several years, practicing her writing during summer breaks.
