Diane K. Kjervik, JD, RN, FAAN, is Professor and Chair, School of Nursing, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She received a BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MS in Psychiatric Nursing from the UCSF, and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota.
