Nicholas N. Kittrie is University Professor and the Edwin A. Mooers Scholar in law at the American University. Chairman of the Eleanor Roosevelt Institute for Justice and Peace, he has served as counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee and as president of the American Society of Criminology.
