Jackie Kingon has published two articles in THE NEW YORK TIMES-Beautiful Music about an Autistic piano player at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center and a feature piece about teaching in an inner city school in the south Bronx-A Year in the Trenches. Jackie Kingon holds a Master's degree from Columbia University Teachers College in New York City; a Bachelor of Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she won the outstanding student award.
