After a period teaching fashion, textiles and home economics, Christine Kingdom went into the textile and creative crafts industry and worked for several international companies in various roles including sales, product design and development, PR, marketing and promotions. A significant part of that time was with Offray ribbons where she developed a keen interest in the versatility and potential of ribbons, as well as a fascination for their rich history. Christine went on to write three books on ribbon crafts, combing her passion for textiles with her love of the vibrant colours and textures
