Kay Kimberly, born in Cedar Rapids, grew up in a suburban town called Marion, Iowa, stuck between a growing industrial city and farmlands. She enjoys the seasons, was an avid reader growing up, enjoys tossing a baseball, or softball round, loves kids, and gets lost in writing. She has a heart to relieve oppression, all kinds everywhere and much of her writing reflects characters who learn to overcome abusive situations to find their own way and own identity in the world. To her, religion is just a game that too often oppresses, and faith is the breathe of life we all need.
