Kibler, James Everett Jr.

James E. Kibler is professor emeritus of English at the University of Georgia and a recognized Simms scholar who has published works on Simms's poetry and his pseudonymous writings. He is the author of Our Fathers' Fields: A Southern Story, for which he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of Southern Writers Award for Nonfiction, Child to the Waters and Walking Toward Home.
