Bud Kenny is a performance poet who loves to walk. A onetime disc jockey, he studied drama, broadcasting, and creative writing at university during the 1970s. Over the course of the next three-and-a-half years, he set off on an eight-thousand-mile trek from Pennsylvania, to the coast of Oregon, then down to San Francisco, and finally back east to Arkansas with only his dog and a pack pony.
