Alan Kaufman's books include the bestselling The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry, The Outlaw Bible of American Literature (co-edited with Barney Rosset), The Outlaw Bible of American Essays, the memoirs Drunken Angel and Jew Boy and the novel, Matches.
