I am a picture book author - in a nutshell, I write stories for children that engage their minds and touch their hearts. Reading picture books sets your children up for a love of books, a love of learning and a healthy love of themselves. So when I write a story for children, I weave themes of joy, enthusiasm, love, imagination and possibility. I use big, bright easy-to-read text, in rhythmic, melodic prose that creates an enjoyable read aloud flow. Together with vivid, adorable illustrations that capture a young child's attention, the result is a series of books that entertain while teaching
