Kidnapped at three years old, Sue began writing as a means of escape from the emotional scars and repetitive nightmares from her childhood. As an investigative reporter for her college newspaper, she received a journalism scholarship, graduating with an AS degree. She also wrote as a correspondent for her local newspaper after college, then ran a successful massage therapy clinic and a gift shop business for eleven years.
