Jorgensen, Nils-Johan

Educated at the universities of Oslo and Oxford, Jorgensen entered the Norwegian diplomatic service, served in Brussels, Copenhagen and Harare and as Ambassador in Tokyo, Bonn and Dar es Salaam. He is the author of many articles and books on European integration and international development, and most recently (2006) Culture and Power in Germany and Japan: The Spirit of Renewal.
