SL Jones was born and raised in the Lawndale community of Chicago. She has worked from Corporate America to government jobs to being unemployed along with an education background. Jones is a member of several organizations. She is founder of the non-profit organization Ivys Faith Ministries; Woman on Fire and Omega Omicron Phi Christian sorority.
