Born in England in 1963, Steve spent his first fifteen years in Apartheid South Africa, until the family migrated to Australia in 1979. From the mid-1980s through the '90s, Steve was a prolific traveler, calling many places home. Finally, in 2003, he settled in Canada. As a white Westerner, Steve received a solid education, but coming to terms with his formative years in South Africa is what has truly shaped his understanding of the world.
